James Franklin “Frank” Baggett, 89, of Linden passed away January 6, 2018.  Mr. Baggett was born October 4, 1928 in Maud, Texas to Melvin Baggett and Bessie Jones Baggett.

Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years Maxine Baggett; two daughters, Judy Mitchell (Jimmy), Tina Crocker (Steve); two sons, Scott Baggett (Angie), Tim Baggett; grandchildren, Kristie Patterson, Jimmie D’Ann Owen, James Baggett, Dylan Baggett, Steven Mack Crocker, Hollye Kay Crocker, Anna Baggett, Alivia, Abbygail and Amanda Suarez; great-grandchildren, Colby, Brody, Trigger Crocker, Michkye Perry, Kingston Johnson, Landry and Levi Patterson, Peyton and Brighton Owen, and Liam Baggett; two sisters, Maire Redwine (Don) and Melba Beckham.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Bessie Baggett; one sister, Ruby Lite; three brothers, Ed Baggett, Herman Baggett and Lester Baggett.

Services are 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 9, 2018 in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden with Bro. Larry Neeley officiating.  Burial to follow in the Mill Creek Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.

There will be a time of visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Monday evening at the funeral home.

  1. Frank will be missed by many people and especially me. He and I worked many hours and days side by side. The days are gone but the memories will last forever. So sorry I am sick and unable to visit the family at this time.
