My Dad always spoke highly of Jimmy and for good reason, once we met I knew why. I pray God's blessings on you and your family, for he blessed us with a very good man who we can say was good even when no one was looking. In Christ love, Dean & Shirley

  14. Nancy and family, we are grateful for the opportunity to have met and become acquainted with Jimmie during his stays in Lake Jackson. It was especially meaningful that on Easter Sunday as Jimmie was passing from this life into the next that we heard him share via video how much he was looking forward to heaven. I know that people were impacted by his testimony and that it was only fitting that at the very moment his life on earth ended, he was bearing witness to his love of our Savior. Thank you for sharing him with us.

  15. We are praying for you, Nancy and family. We thank the Lord for Jimmie's faith in Christ and for what he is now enjoying in Heaven. I think his testimony on Sunday was powerful and well received.

  16. It is hard to put into words what a wonderful man Jimmie was. He touched each person with whom he had contact. His walk with the Lord was apparant in everything that he did. We will miss him, but the Lord will welcome him to his heavenly home.

  17. Nancy, To you and your family my condolences. God is by all of yours sides today. I know you have a lot to celebrate for the 47 years of life the two of you had together. Love to you and your family, God is holding the light for all of you today.

  18. Dear family and friends, Our condolences from the Benton First Church of the Nazarene.

  19. My wife and I got to know Jimmie and Nancy during their stays in Lake Jackson. We considered them members of our Sunday school class and have been praying for them for years. It was always a pleasure when they were back in town even though I knew it meant more treatments. I will always remember when Jimmie, along with several men from our church, helped fix a church family members house. I pulled out my miter saw to cut some molding and I saw the twinkle in his eyes. From then on he always talked woodworking and power tools with me. I know its sad to see Jimmie gone but Im excited hes experiencing heaven right now. This has been a prime opportunity to talk about heaven with our children and I thank Jimmie for his faithful service. Nancy, we pray for your healing and look forward to seeing you at church next time youre in Lake Jackson.Love,Andy & Katie Sargent
