Services for Jason Stuart Vaughan, 46, of Hughes Springs, Texas will be 4:00 p.m., Sunday, July 16, 2017 in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.Β Burial will follow in the Hughes Springs Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.
There will be a time of visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Saturday evening at the funeral home.
Jason was born June 26, 1971 in Naples, Texas to Bobby Vaughan and Brenda Fortune.Β Mr. Vaughan served his country proudly in the United States Army.
Survivors included his loving wife of 4 years, Tammy Vaughan; his mother, Brenda Vaughan; two daughters, Chyanne Vaughan, Raegan Johnson and husband Ricky; two sons, Colby and Justin Stambaugh; two sisters, Gail Thomas and husband Price, Mandy Vaughan; brother, Ken Vaughan; brother-in-law, Russell Warren; sister-in-law, Rebecca Williams and husband Jamie; five grandchildren, Andon, Tatum, Chawn, Karter, Hadlee and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Vaughan; grandparents and one brother, Phillip Vaughan.

I served proudly with Jason in the Army at Ft. Stewart in the same squad for 2 years. No finer soldier, person or friend could I have asked for during those times. I knew Jason as a little boy at Bethel Baptist Church. Looks like he grew into a fine man. He is gone too soon. Brenda, Gail, Price – my condolences. To the rest of the family as well. I know you will miss him forever.
