Jeanette Measles LINDEN, TX A memorial service for Jeanette Measles, 75, of Texarkana, was held at 11:00 am, Monday, November 29, 2010 at Pinecrest Baptist Church in Linden with Bro. Bryan Baggett officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home, Inc., in Linden. Mrs. Measles was born September 3, 1935 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Carl and Monnie Bullard Southerland. She passed away Saturday, November 27, 2010 in a Texarkana hospital. She was a book keeper and loving mother. She is survived by her son, Terry Sakcriska of Texarkana; two daughters and a son-in-law, Joyce and Mike Waldon of Linden and D. Sue Rodriquez of Texarkana; a brother, Jerry Southerland of Maryland; a sister, Lola Winconek of Minnesota; 8 grand children and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Bruce Allen Sakcriska and a brother, Jimmy Dale Southerland.

Sue,Joyce and Terry. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time. I just now found out about your mom and Bruce. Was crushed to hear about both. Me and your mom had some really good times together and will miss her dearly. No matter what part of the states I was living in, she always tracked me down to say hello. That meant the world to me. Even tho we're not still family as such, I will always consider yall as one. My love to all of you.
