LINDENJeff Henry Hank Cason, 43, of Linden, passed away Monday, January 5, 2008, in a Texarkana hospital. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Thursday, January 8, 2008, at First Baptist Church of Linden. Mr. Cason was born August 24, 1965 in Linden to T. L. and Anna Cason. He was a 1984 graduate of Linden-Kildare High School, was a self employed carpenter, a member of First Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Army. Hank was well known and loved in the community. Survivors include his wife. Sandy Cason of Linden; a son, Lil Hank Cason of Paris; two daughters, Toni Cason of Roxton, and Lela Cason of Louisiana; two step-sons, Alan Goobie Moore of Linden, and Jeff Belyeu and wife, Tressie, of Yuma, Arizona; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Bill and Tracy Cason of Gilmer and Travis Cason of Hughes Springs; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Brenda Carmack of Lone Star, Lavaughnda Gillean of Bryans Mill, and Melody and Henry Whiteman of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; four grandchildren and one on the way. Also, he is survived by two special friends, Tommy Fitts of Linden and Jack Tibbs of Paris, plus numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Vicki, and a brother, Charlie.

Dad I am so sorry we did not get the chance to say goodbye.I miss you so much and I will always remember you as a loving caring father and grandfather.I know we could never get our times right to visit but that will never change the times we had together.And i heard Free Bird on the radio today it made me miss you more.I remember you sang it to me and it was so awesome coming from you when I heard it today I couldnt help but cry.I love you always and forever more.
