Funeral services for Jeffery Dean Rau, 21, of Lone Star will be held at 10 A.M., Monday at Hughes Springs Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Estes officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Hughes Springs. Visitation will be 6-8 Sunday at the funeral home in Hughes Springs. Jeffery died Wednesday, Feb. 25 at a Longview hospital. He was born December 30, 1987 to Jeffery and Rebecca Rau. He was a member of Lone Star Baptist Church and attended Daingerfield-Lone Star schools. He worked for Granite Manpower of Dallas. Jeffery loved hunting, fishing and golf, and he was an avid fan of the Longhorns and the Cowboys. He is survived by his mother Rebecca Rau of Lone Star; one sister and brother-in- law Stacie and Michael Fair of Daingerfield; maternal grandparents Bobby and Rita Tilley of Lone Star; paternal grandparents Dennis and Grace Rau of Hughes Springs; two maternal great grandmothers Faye Murphy of Plainview and Billie Ware of Lorenzo; one niece Juliana Fair and one nephew Colton Fair; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. His father Jeffery Peter Rau preceded him in death on March 28, 2008. Condolences may be left for the family at www.reeder-davis.com.
