Jeffery Alan Seifert, 68, of Linden, TX., formerly of Dover, PA. passed away August 3, 2016. Mr. Seifert was born October 1, 1947 in York, PA to Farmer Seifert and Delores Anderson. He was a 1965 graduate of Dover High School. Mr. Seifert served his country in the US Air Force serving at Cannon Air Base in Clovis, NM from 1965-1968. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, gardener and loved to do wood work and build birdhouses. He loved his family and was a devoted Christian and enjoyed witnessing to people. Mr. Seifert worked for Christian Record for the Blind for many years and worked for his church.
Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years, Reba Seifert; two daughters, Eva Diane Seifert Aragon and husband Xenos of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Melissa Ann Seifert Finn and husband James; son-in-law, David Gold; one granddaughter, Brena Ellen Aragon; one aunt, Karen Anderson Lentz of Dover, PA; one uncle, Richard E. Anderson and wife Linda of York, PA; mother-in-law, Lorena Stigaullde; two sisters-in-law, Wilma and Charles Hall of Midland, TX and Vickie Bomer of Linden and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Ellen Delores Seifert Gold.

Services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at the Linden Seventh Day Adventist Church with Adrian Solis officiating. Burial to follow in the New Hope Cemetery in Marietta, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.

There will be a time of visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday evening at the funeral home.

  4. We were saddened to read in the York PA newspaper of Jeff's passing. We always enjoyed how neighborly Jeff and Reba were to us. I will always rember Jeff's daily walks around the driveway and his wave as we drove by. Our condolences go out to Reba and the entire family during this difficult time.
