     Jerry Lee Brock, 75, of Linden, Texas passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on June 17, 2021.  Mr. Brock was born January 4, 1946 in Harrisville, MS to James Preston Brock and Mabel Keller Brock.   Jerry served his country proudly in the United States Army,   Navy and Army Reserves.

     He is preceded in death by his first wife, Sandra Kay Foster Brock; parents, Preston Brock and Mabel Graves; two sons, baby Jerry Brock, Michael Wayne Gonzales; two sisters, Carol Gene Drury, Linnie Marie Brock; brother & sister-in-laws, Tommy Foster, Dickie Corbett, Carol Mitrovich, Garrett Corbett and Jerry David Corbett.

     He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Janie Brock; children, Jolene Carol Brock and Boone Bynum, Jerry Lee Brock, Thomas & Chrystal Gonzales, Todd & Prissy Gonzales, Charlotte & William Johnson, Jeniece & Shane Davidson and Peggy Gonzales; siblings, Rose    Ledlow, Janie K. Pounders & Tommy, Darlene Trotti & Doug , JC Graves, Michael Brock, George Brock  & Dana Sinclair, Billy Kelly Brock, Stella Washington, Sterling Corbett, Stephen Corbett, Donald Corbett, Ronald Corbett, Tommy Corbett, Sam Corbett, Dickie Sue Corbett, Sonny Corbett, Stacey Birdno and Williard Foster; grandkids, Samantha Newton & Charles, Erica Hill, Brittany Gonzales & Rock, Chelsea Gonzales & Wade, Destiny Mendez & Emmanuel, David Gonzales & Makenna, Thomas Gonzales, Makia Gonzales, Jacob May, David Keener & Cheyenne, Quitman Keener & Ashley, Zachary Gonzales & Merissa, Carter Gonzales & MaKayla, Lynnsey Rhyne, Brianna Rhyne, Hunter Johnson, Cody Davidson & Delaney, Justin Davidson & Tara Solley, Brianna Vertrees & Eric, and 23 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 20, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Linden with Bro. Eddie Alexander officiating.  Burial to follow in the Linden Cemetery and under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.

There will be a time of visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Saturday evening at the funeral home.

  8. Jerry Lee was my brother in-law for awhile . We loved having him in our family and he was an exceptional husband and caregiver to our sister Sandy . He will be missed.
