Funeral services for Mrs. Joe Evelyn Black, 94, of Hughes Springs, Texas, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 2, 2026, in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Burial will follow at Harris Chapel Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation with family and friends from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home in Hughes Springs.

Mrs. Black passed away Thursday, July 30, 2026, in Daingerfield. The full obituary will be announced as it becomes available.
