John E. Beckham

John El Beckham was born November 29, 1932 to John Robert and Lorene Beckham. He passed away May 13, 2021. John was a proud veteran, having served in the United States Army. He retired from Lone Star Steel.
John was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Jean Beckham; and step-son, Tommy Armstrong.
He is survived by his step-son, Jimmy Armstrong (Donna) of Longview; step-daughter, Nancy Long (Kenneth) of Conroe; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Bradfield Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Ryan Stratton officiating. Services are under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.
So sorry for the families loss. We had a lot of great times with John and Jean. Loved our special square dancing friends. Odis and Ann Cline
John was one of a kind. I worked in the Lone Star Steel pipe mills with him. He was a very good electrician. RIP
So sorry to hear of mr Beckham’s passing. I enjoyed seeing him and talking to him while I could visit nursing home. A precious person.
