LINDEN Funeral services for Joseph Carlton Justice, Jr., 72, of Linden will be 10:30 AM, Thursday, August 9, 2007 at the Linden Church of Christ with Rick Parker officiating. Burial will be in the Corinth Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home. A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 8, 2007 from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Justice was born May 23, 1935 in Nacgodoches, Texas. He passed away August 5, 2007 in Gladewater. He was retired from Texas Instruments, a Linden Police officer and served in the US Marine Corps. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bettie Maxine Justice and his parents, Joseph Carlton, Sr. and Carrie Martin Justice. Survivors include two sons, Joseph Steven Justice of Gladewater and Thomas Dale Justice of Linden; one brother, Don Justice of Port Lavaca; four grandchildren, Joey Justice, Chris Justice, and Allie Justice all of Linden and Jennifer Justice; and one great grandchild.

  1. What a blessing it has been to have known Joe for the last few months he was in Gladewater. He attended church services at Quitman & Center St. Church of Christ when he was able.
