J.T. Everett, Jr., "Big Jim" or " Brother," was born to J.T. and Sedailure Everett on April 21, 1943. He attended public school in the Daingerfield area. He was added to the Church of Christ at an early age. Brother had many obstacles in life. He was a humble man with a kind spirit. He was a hard worker and sounded like he loved to do it. The last several years of his life were spent in a convalescent home in Linden. His parents preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memories a son and daughter-in-law, Floyd and Ada Everett of McKinney; a daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Ricky Ewing of Dallas; four sisters, Flora Mae James, Shirley Walker and Georgie Smith, all of Daingerfield; and Margie (James Earl) Edmond of Cason; three brothers, Author Ray (Sally) Everett; Robert William Everett all of Daingerfield; and Billy D. Everett of Longview; six grandchildren, Jermaine (Nicole) Ewing; Kristan (Pinky) Ewing, Avery Renaurd Ewing; Angela Marie Everett, Brandon Deon Everett and Amber Johnson; three great-grandchildren, Elixa Marie Chaunalt; Deshawn Marcell Ewing; Jordan Tyler Ewing; along with a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and friends. Burial will be in Rivers Cemetery.
