Kadrion Terrill Haskins, a sweet, vibrant and respectable young man, passed away on June 27, 2025, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was born to Annie Louise Shackleford and Melvin Walker and stepfather, Austin Shackleford on May 18, 1989, in Texarkana, Texas at Wadley Hospital. He became a member of Gum Springs CME Church at an early age. He later in life joined Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church in Philadelphia, PA. He graduated from Atlanta, Texas. He attended Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas, and graduated from Prairie View A&M University on August 13, 2011, in Houston, Texas, with his Bachelor’s Degree. He also attended Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, where he took the Philadelphia Bar of Law and passed in 2024. Kadrion was employed as an Administrative Coordinator at Drexel University.
His family knew him as Terrill and his friends knew him as Kade. He had many friends, and people generally perceived him positively wherever he went. He would lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He enjoyed traveling and making new friends. He never looked down on anyone but instead encouraged everyone to pursue their own dreams.
He loved his mother to the moon and back. He would call her 365 days of the year and 24 hours a day. His mother did not always have to hold a conversation with him on the phone, he was ok with just hearing her breath. Kadrion had many similar ways to his older brother, Eld. Byron Haskins. They never met a stranger that they did not become friends with. They would both get their telephone number and address. Kadrion had many similar ways to his middle brother, Brannon Haskins as well. They both loved to take picutes of everybody and were always ready to smile at the camera. Whenever Kadrion made his mind up to do anything, he would follow through with it.
Kadrion Terrill Haskins is survived by his mother, Annie Louise Shackleford and stepfather, Austin Shackleford. He is also survived by his two older brothers, Eld. Byron Haskins (Marquette) and Brannon Haskins (Anquaneshia), and a host of loving uncles and aunts. His nephews and nieces whom he loved as his very own children: Anna Haskins, Anthony Haskins, Byeishea Haskins, Shelton Haskins (who preceded him in death), Chase Haskins, Branna Haskins, Alyriah Haskins, Brannon Haskins, Jr., Anquan Haskins, and Aiden Haskins. He has two great-nephews as well, Zayne Haskins, and Justus Haskins.
