Funeral services for Kathryn M. Hanes, 95, of Hughes Springs, formerly of Dallas and Tulsa, will be at 2 PM on Sunday, September 13, 2009 at Reeder-Davis Chapel in Hughes Springs with Rev. Charles Russell officiating. Burial will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 16 at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Grove, OK. Mrs. Hanes was born on March 12, 1914 in Rabbit, OK to William and Fannie Robertson and died on Friday, September 11, 2009 at a Hughes Springs nursing home. Survivors include four sons Jack (Nedra) Brown of Collinsville, OK, Earl (Ruth) Fountain of Red Oak, TX, Doug (Donna) Brown of Irving, TX and Robert (Deanna) Brown of Hughes Springs; two daughters Rosa Lee (Clifford) Andrews of Drum Right, OK and Catherine Marie Haley of Hughes Springs; 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands Leslie Brown and Jack Hanes; two brothers; one sister; one grandson Damon Brown. Mrs. Hanes will lie in state on Saturday, September 12, 2009 and the family will receive friends from 6-8 PM at the funeral home in Hughes Springs.
