Kathryn Mae Conley, 81, of Linden passed away December 18, 2017.  Mrs. Conley was born July 4, 1936 in Pittsburg, TX to E.W. Rountree, Sr. and Mable Shaddix Rountree.  Kathryn loved singing with her beloved husband and was an avid golfer.

 

She is survived by two sons, Steve Conley, Ronnie Conley and wife Midge of Texarkana; two grandsons, Zach Conley, Cade Conley of Texarkana; one sister, Linda Rountree Monts and husband Jimmy of Pittsburg, TX.; one brother, Rex Rountree of Houston, TX., sisters-in-law, Collene Rountree and Gigi Rountree, Barbara Norris and husband Rex Norris; brother-in-law, Raymond Ryan, and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bob Conley; five brothers, E.W. Rountree, Jr., Curtis Rountree, Patman Rountree, Frank Rountree, and Gaynor Rountree; two sisters, Joan Gunter and Joyce Ryan.

 

Services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the Linden United Methodist Church with Brad Rountree officiating.  Burial will follow in the Old Saltillo Methodist Cemetery in Saltillo, Texas under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.

 

There will be a time of visitation from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Thursday.

  5. Your mom was such a sweet lady and always so kind to me . When visiting the district clerk office with dad, she was so friendly and welcoming. So sorry I was not in town . Praying for your family.
