Kenneth Postell

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Kenneth David Postell, 57, of Daingerfield, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2026, in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.

Kenneth was born March 26, 1969, to Frank and Marie Postell. A natural jokester, Kenneth was known for his quick wit, playful sense of humor, and talent for keeping those around him laughing. He loved spending time with his friends and family, especially while cooking and entertaining.

 Kenneth loved deeply and was always willing to help others in any way he could.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Frank Postell; and his husband, Kevin Rowe-Postell.

He is survived by his mother, Marie Postell; sister, Ethel Cuff and husband, Rocky; brother, Kevin Postell and wife, Alisha, all of Carthage; aunt, Reta Reeves; a host of nieces and nephews; and his special friends, Jeremy and J.J., who lovingly helped care for him. He also leaves behind his beloved pups, Honey, Chewy, and Trixie, whom he affectionately considered his “children,” as well as numerous extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
