Funeral services for Kenneth W. Delacerda, 64, of Frankston, formerly of Kildare, will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 9, at Kildare Baptist Church with Father John Himes officiating. Masonic burial will follow at Kildare Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home, Inc. Mr. Delacerda died Saturday, October 6, in Tyler, Texas. He was born October 26, 1942 in Linden. He was a policeman for 36 years, served in the U.S. Air Force for nine years, and he was a Mason. He is survived by his wife, Mona Roberts Delacerda of Frankston formerly of Kildare; his children; Tonya Delacerda Ramirez of Frankston, Marni Delacerda of Frankston, Dooley Allen of Cumby, and Jamie Allen Van Hoozer of Crandall; brothers; Jerry Delacerda of Pryor, OK, Don Delacerda of Frankston, Keith Delacerda of Morrilton, AR, and Mark Delacerda of Duncanville; sisters, Bobby Shelton of Texarkana, Lois Latham of Marshall, Peggy Hitchcock of Omaha, and Delores Lloyd of Hughes Springs, ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. Viewing and visitation will be Monday evening after 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

  17. I was so sorry to hear about Ken. I apologize for just now contacting you but I just got word. He was a great man and was such an insprition to me and so many others. I will cherish, forever, our time together.

  18. Mona-I was so sad to hear about Ken. I had no idea that he was ill or that yall' had moved from San Augustine. I apologize for not contacting you sooner but I just found out. Oh, how love you guys. Both of you were such an inspiration to me personally and professionally. Like I continued to tell yall', "I just could not have survived San Augustine without yall'."
