L.D. Madewell LINDEN L.D. Madewell, 70, of Linden, passed away. Monday, November 17, 2008, in a Longview, Texas, hospital. Services will be 10:00 A.M., Thursday, November 20, 2008 in the chapel of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home in Linden. Burial will be at 1:00 P.M., in Rock Springs Cemetery, Genoa, Arkansas, under the direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home. Mr. Madewell was born September 22, 1938 in Lost Prairie, Arkansas. He was employed by Cooper Services in Texarkana and J and S Motors in Queen City. He was of the Pentecostal faith. Survivors include his wife, Marsha Madewell of Linden; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Ronald and Vivian Madewell of Atlanta and Gerry Madewell of Linden; three brothers, David Madewell of Texarkana, James Wesley Madewell, and George Madewell, both of Linden; two sisters, Elvira House of Texarkana, and Kathy Madewell of Hot Springs, Arkansas; two grandsons, Clint and Logan Madewell of Atlanta; two step-sons, Robert Stanley of Seattle, Washington, and Ryan Stewart of Austin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Christine Madewell, and three infant children. In lieu of flowers, memorials made be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
