Graveside services for Lance Logan Baker, 7, of Hughes Springs, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 16, at Sardis Cemetery near Hughes Springs with the Rev. Scott Darby officiating, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Thursday, May 15 at the funeral home. Lance died Monday, May 12, 2008. He was born January 19, 2001 in Longview, TX. He was a student at Hughes Springs Elementary. He is survived by his parents Donisha and Jonathon Baker of Hughes Springs; his grandparents Pamela and James Pipes of Hughes Springs and Cindy Baker of Longview; a great grandmother Edna C. Baker of Latch; an aunt Crystal Baker of Longview and three uncles James Pipes of Hughes Springs and Timothy and Benjamin Baker, both of Longview. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Leonard Baker, great-grandparents Ruby and David Patterson, great grandfather John C. Baker, and two cousins Rex David Dickerson and Steven Baker.
