He died March 15 at his residence in Hughes Springs surrounded by his loved ones. Mr. Lancaster was born December 15, 1929 in Naples to Loyd and Cleo Lancaster . He married Jearldeen Fuller on June 7, 1947 in Hughes Springs. He was a Baptist and was a Christian since he was six years old, and he worked for Sweetheart Cup Company for 33 years. He retired to Hughes Springs where he worked for Cass County Precinct 2, where he served four years as county commissioner. He is survived by his wife Jearldeen of Hughes Springs; one daughter and son-in-law Judy and Dana Brandes of Hughes Springs; one son and daughter-in-law Danny Ray and Kathy Lancaster of Hughes Springs; two sisters Betty Owens of Hughes Springs and Wilma Fay Boyd of Longview; eight grandchildren Stephanie Brewer, Sheila Cox , Penny Scott, Donny Ray Lancaster, Allana Kidwell; and April Jones and Kyleigh Little; and Kurt Burris; 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Mr. Lancaster was preceded in death by his parents, one son Larry W. Lancaster, and two sisters Juanita Gunn and Merline Barton.

  1. I am so sorry that my husband uncles is gone, but he was the sweet man i got to meet in Hughes Springs. He welcome me with open arms in the family. I thought very high of him. I will miss him very much. Hope the family will be okay, yall will be in my prays.

  2. Larnce was a very special cousin. He always enjoyed being with family and especially liked to pull his little "pranks". He had a contagious smile and made everyone happy to be around him. We will miss him, but know that he's resting in God's arms. I love you all.

  4. Larnce (Bubba) was very special to the family of Norris Lee and Fayma Jacobs. He will be remembered as a loving husband,son, father and friend. He will truly be missed.
