LINDEN, TX Funeral services for Larry Copeland, 64, of Linden will be at 11:00am Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at Linden United Methodist Church with Rev. Pat Sparks officiating. Interment will follow in Wells Chapel Cemetery. Under the direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home, Inc. in Linden. A visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Copeland was born February 11, 1947 in Cass County to Curtis N. and Kathryn Price Copeland. He passed away Saturday, December 3, 2011 in Linden. He was a pipefitter, Navy veteran, and a member of Linden United Methodist Church. He was a loving, husband, wonderful father and uncle. He was preceded in death by his father, his father-in law and mother-in-law, Bunt and Mary Alice Hays and a sister, Peggy Camacho. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Marsha Copeland; a son and daughter-in-law, Curt and Holly Copeland; a daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Bubba Duncan; three grandchildren, Cody, Erin and Kassidy Duncan; one special great grand daughter, Kylee Terry; nieces and nephews, Mary Ann Jordan and husband, Doug, Tania Greer, Susan Whatley and husband, Buddy, Stacy Fischer and Nick Fischer; great nieces and nephews, Brad Tyson and wife, Sara, Ashley Tyson, Sophie Greer, Ethan Whatley; two sisters-in-law, Wanda Brewer and husband, Berton, and Rosemary Fischer and husband, Ray; his mother, Kathryn Copeland; one brother, Charles Copeland and wife, Susie; and one sister, Faye Copeland; and many other family members and a host of friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Linden United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 338, Linden, Texas 75563 or Wells Chapel Cemetery.

  6. I am so sorry to hear about Larry. I met him at Lone Star and worked with him there. He was a great person and someone I looked up to. He always worked hard. I am deployed overseas right now.
