Memorial celebrations for Mr. Larry Penny, age 75, of Linden, Texas, will be held at Music City Theatre on May 24, 2025, under the direction of the family. Larry, son of Olan Alfred and Genie Mae, passed away peacefully on April 29th in his sleep. Larry was a highly revered and beloved father and grandfather. He is survived by his sons Brandon and Chris, his grandchildren Jackson Zeus and Zoe James, his daughter in law April and his siblings Joyce, James, Connie, Tony and Gary.  He had an incredible life that took him all over the world working in the music industry with The Eagles, Jackson Browne, America and many others.  Larry was a highly valued member of the Linden community, particularly for his work with the Music City Theatre.  He will be dearly missed and remembered by his family and friends.  Cremation arrangements entrusted to Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.

Larry was always fun to hang out with as we shared the same sense of humor. He will always be a treasured part of my life. Rest in peace, my friend.
