LINDEN, TX Lelia Gayle Green, 54, of Atlanta, passed away Friday February 18, 2011 in a Jefferson nursing home. She was born in Dallas, Texas on August 25, 1956 to Charles and Mary Parsons Wormington. Mrs. Green was a former employee of Regions Bank in Atlanta and Cass County Tax Office. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Linden. Her father preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Robert Green of Atlanta; her mother, Mary Wormington of Linden; children: Johnny Ross and wife, Kendra, of Connecticut, Kimberly Wall and husband, Brian of Charleston, South Carolina, Chris Ross and wife, Bobbie, of Atlanta, Texas and Amy Green of Texarkana; brothers: Lee Wormington of Linden , Chuck Wormington of San Antonio, Dale Wormington of Houston, Larry Wormington of Melissa, TX; sisters: Lana Wormington Kenward and husband, Sid, of Redwater, ; grandchildren: Bradley, Braden and Brooklyn Ross, Chandler and Cayden Wall, Allie Ross, Treston and Amaya Green. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 20, 2011 at Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home Chapel in Linden with Bro. Jerry McKellar and Bro. Larry Neely officiating. Burial to follow at Union Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

  1. We had only known Lilia for a short time but enjoyed the time we spent with her during Kendra & Johnny's wedding. The cruise we all took together, and the time she came up to vist us and the kids and the day trips we took together
