Lena Warden

Funeral services for Lena Rosena (Rose) Warden, 86, of Bedford, formerly of Linden will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 10, at Reeder-Davis-Schindler Chapel in Linden wiht Elder James Neff officiatin. Burial will be later at Hillcrest Cemetery, Texarkana under the direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home. Mrs. Warden died Thursday, September 7, in a Bedford retirement center. She was born June 7, 1920 in Wilburton, Oklahoma. She was a school teacher, a member of the Retired Teachers Association, and Linden Municipal Hospital Auxiliary. She is survived by two sons, Michael Leo Warden of Texarkana and Charles Patrick Wood Warden of Linden; two daughters, Marcia Rosanne Brown of Euless and Elizabeth Kei Torres of Seattle; one sister, Hazel Williamson of Muskogee, Oklahoma; six grandchildren; and one step granddaughter.
