Leonard Joseph Mroz
October 21, 1936 ~ November 8, 2021
Leonard Joseph Mroz was born on October 21, 1936 in Hartford, Connecticut and passed away on November 8,2021 in Texarkana, Texas.
The Old Man (as he was so affectionately known) loved to fish, hunt, cook, and spend time with his family and friends. He spent his life working hard, feeding animals, and feeding everyone. The front porch is where you would find him, smoking his cigars, available for whoever came by to sit and talk for a while. He was a prankster, too, so you better be on your toes. When you realized he got you, what a big laugh he would have. He loved this country, its land, animals, and waters. His work here is now done, and he is sitting on the Big Porch since God called him home.
Old Man is preceded in death by his daughter, Andrea Kay Mroz. He is survived by his sons, Leonard Joseph Mroz Jr., and Travis Wayne Austin; daughters Lenny Weaver and Lisa Walker; sons and daughters, he picked for his own, Pablo Hernandez, Ruben Hubbard, William Hubbard, Lauralee Hubbard, Teresa Diehl and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services for Mr. Leonard Mroz, 85, of Linden, Texas will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the Huff Family Cemetery and under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.
There will be a time of visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday evening at the funeral home.
You will be truely missed Trucker. RIP
My loving brother
