Funeral services for Lloyd J. McCullough, 75, of Hughes Springs, formerly of Jacksonville, will be at 2 P.M., Saturday, February 21, at Reeder-Davis Chapel in Hughes Springs with the Rev. Ron Dyess officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery near Hughes Springs under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. Mr. McCullough will lie in state Friday afternoon and evening, and the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Mr. McCullough died Wednesday, Feb. 18 at a Linden hospital. He was born April 25, 1933.He was a deacon at Calvary Baptist Church in Hughes Springs for many years. He is survived by his wife Joyce McCullough of Hughes Springs; five children Vicki Hodgin and her husband Don of Hughes Springs, Tim McCullough and his wife Ginger of Tyler, Rex McCullough and his wife Cristy of Longview, Jonathan McCullough and his wife Jennifer of Gatesville, and Brandon Calcote and his wife Regena of Hughes Springs; three sisters-in-law Cordie McCullough of Jacksonville, Adele McCullough and Datha McCullough both of Anacoco; 13 grandchildren Chad Lawrence, Christopher Lawrence, Collin Lawrence, Jacob McCullough, Justin McCullough, Sara McCullough, Matt Payne, Alicia Payne, Ashley McCullough, Jonathan McCullough , Anna McCullough, Austin Calcote, Kali Calcote; and three great grandchildren Lacie Lawrence, Julia Lawrence and Addyson Lawrence.

Aunt Joyce, I am so sorry I am unable to come Sat. due to a previous commitment with my husband. My earliest memories of Uncle Lloyd were his smile and his genuine kindness. He was truely a Godly man. My thoughts and prayers are with you now and in the year to come.
