Funeral services for Lola Mae Sampson, 80, of Naples will be 11 AM, Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Cason. Burial will follow at Morning Star Cemetery in Naples under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. Mrs. Sampson was born on January 29, 1930 to Hardy and Onie Luckey and passed away on Monday, October 25th, 2010 at a Mt. Pleasant hospital. Survivors include one son Travis C. Sampson, Jr. of Naples; four daughters Geraldine (Alfred) Cannon of Omaha, Shirley (Winfred) Traylor of Daingerfield, Onie (James) Nichols of Ft. Worth and Deborah (Lonnie) Young of Houston; two brothers Lonnie (Mary) Luckey of Cason and Pastor James (Margaret) Luckey of Naples; 14 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends; one sister-in-law Etois Luckey of Naples; a special friend that brought joy in her heart and life, Mrs. Charles (C.W.) Smith of Cason. Mrs. Sampson will lie in state in Friday, October 29th afternoon and evening at the funeral home in Hughes Springs.

Our deepest condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Mrs Lola left an incredible impression on the many people she worked with over the years. As a former co-worker I must tell you, I was always waiting for the time Mrs Lola would be making Bread Pudding, Mrs Lola left a wonderful legacy of love with many of us.
