Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Rick, Jan and family, We're so sorry for the loss of your Dad. He'll be remembered fondly by all the people who loved him. He was a great story teller and loved to tease. I think maybe he loved being a grandfather even more than being a dad. He and your Mom will be watching you always from heaven. Your parents were always great to me and I know Mama will miss him so much, because he was her favorite brother, and he took care of her. Love, JoAnn

  2. Although I never had the priviledge of knowing your dad, I have heard nothing but good things about him all my life from my dad, Leonard Jacobs. Dad passed away nearly 2 years ago. I feel sure that he is looking forward to welcoming Mr Brantley to their heavenly home and recalling old times at Lone Star Steel. May God cover your hearts with peace and allow fond memories to bring you comfort. My sympathies, Marilyn

  3. Rick, I am sorry about your Dad. It is your LOSS but HIS GAIN! That is such a comforting thought that we KNOW that DAD is now "HOME" that he has looked forward to. You will be with him again! May God wrap HIS loving arms around you at this time and bring strength in you in the days ahead.

  4. Rick. I will never forget your mom and dad. They are two of the finest christian people to ever walk upon this earth. I will have a special love in my heart for them for all eternity, and will be in much prayer for you and your family. Sincerely, Danny Harp
