Memorial services for Lorrie Maeline Cox Myers, 42, of Mount Pleasant, formerly of Daingerfield, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 19 at Veal Switch Missionary Baptist Church in Hughes Springs with Bro. Butch Shipp officiating. Ms. Myers died Sunday in a Mount Pleasant hospital. She was born February 15, 1969 in Big Spring. She was a member of South Union Baptist Church in Daingerfield. She is survived by her parents Charline and Loy Cox of Daingerfield; two brothers and one sister-in-law Loy Jr. and Virginia Cox and Duane Cox, all of Hughes Springs; one sister and brother-in-law Carla and John Pearson of Gallatin TN; one niece and six nephews.

I relly didnt know Mrs Lorrie but i have known Loy for years and he has been a blessing to be around and i know Mrs Lorrie was too i just missed on the oppurtunity of knowing her but Now she is in Gods arms Resting So Peacefully

  3. Dear Charlene & Loye,I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Lorrie. SOme of my fondest memories at SUMBC is of holding Lorrie in my lap during worship services. I was not aware she had been in ill health in recent years. My deepest sympathy and love go out to you and all of the family today. Greta

  6. Lorrie – It has been about 4 years since you died. I have never forgotten you. In fact, I always think of you on every July 17 of each year. Not only that, I always think of you everyday… I know you are in Heaven rejoicing and singing…. love you!
