Louise McBride Terry was born November 19, 1938, in Texarkana, Arkansas, to Will Lee and Ethel McBride. She passed away Monday, July 1, 2024, in Linden, Texas.

Mrs. Terry married the love of her life, Mr. John Wheeler Terry, Sr. on September 17, 1957, in Houston, Texas. Along with her husband, she owned and operated Terry’s Automotive in Linden, Texas, for over 40 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Wheeler Terry, Sr; sons: Danny Lee Terry and Joseph Dwayne Terry; and great-grandchildren, Kaley Wilkerson and Troy Johnson; and great great-grandson, Karter Kincaid Lee; daughter-in-law, Gwen Eaves Terry; and son-in-law, Calvin Wayne Hawley.

Mrs. Terry is survived by her daughters:  Tina Louise Mosley and Peggy Sue Hawley; sons: Jesse Alan Terry, Charles Ray Terry, John Wheeler Terry, Jr., Charles Thurman Hanson; grandchildren:  Tosha Nicole Stanley, Crystal Marie Johnson, Star Micole Turner, Sandra Michelle Hawley, Christina Lynn Hoipkemier, Josh Terry, Chaz Terry, Victoria Terry, Shelby Terry, Jerramy Burns, Jennifer Jones, Michael Terry, Daniel Terry, Justin Terry, Ashley Conditt, Jessica Wilkerson, Shasta Hanson, Amanda Hanson, Curtis Hanson, Caleb Hanson, Sam Jones, Shelley Perez, and Brandon Turner; numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

Services for Mrs. Terry will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Faith Pentecostal Church in Atlanta, Texas. Burial will follow at Center Grove Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. There will be a time of visitation from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
