  1. I only knew Miss Mabel for a short time but, I thought she was a wonderful woman. She said something one day I will never forget. She my mom (Joy) and I were on our way to Longview. Miss Mable remarked about the beauty in the trees where the deep green colors came forth from a much needed rain. Then she said "The branches are lifting toward heaven and saying thank you God. It remeinded me how we often over look God's hand in our world and fail to give him credit. Miss Mable reminded me of that and I thank God I was able to meet her.
