Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. My heart is broken and I can’t imagine life without you, but I know you are in heaven looking down upon me and mingling with our ancestors whom you cared so deeply about. I miss you!

  2. Margaret will truly be missed. She was very dear to our family as she worked diligently to ensure we were connected and knew our family history. She would coordinate the family reunions with lots of love and kept in touch with everyone.

We love you, dear cousin, but for now,
Rest in Peace until we meet again on the other side.

Patricia (Trish) Randolph and the Rockwell/Perry Families.

  3. I am the daughter of Germadene Bell Weatherall, who is the daughter of Casinia Graham, the daughter of Mary Davis, the daughter of Esther Perry Riley, my connection in the Stevens(Stephens) /Perry family. Margaret had a passion for genealogy and connected so many of us through her research of this family. My mother and I attended our first reunion held in Desoto, Texas and after the first time, we never missed another one. She was my Soror, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Margaret and James were the perfect couple. They will both be sorely missed. I pray that we will be able to carry on the legacy she has se before us. RIP Margaret

  4. Those we love don't go away
They walk beside us every day
    Unseen, unheard, but always near
So loved, so missed, so very dear

    Thanks for happy memories.

  5. The Bobbie Mitchell family wish to express our sorry at the loss of our mother’s best friend. In Marshall, Margaret and our mother had such a strong sisterly bond that lasted til our mother’s dying day in 2008. We stayed in touch when Margaret and Mr. Brooks moved to Vegas. When our brother Travis drove me and Joycelyn to Vegas for our sorority’s convention, we had an opportunity to have a couple of outings with them. We were so glad our mother even had a chance to visit her friend in Las Vegas. Margaret had such a dynamic personality who enjoyed her life after years as a dedicated educator, a family historian and member of our sister sorority, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority. We will never forget you, Margaret. May God comfort and strengthen the family during this difficult time.

Travis Mitchell, Cheryl Rose, Joycelyn Franklin, Patricia Hall, Diedra Moffitt and Kimberly Siurek
