A Funeral Mass for Maria Remedios Dominguez will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Longview, Texas. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 22, 2026, at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Ore City.

Maria Remedios Dominguez passed away Thursday, June 18, 2026, at her home in Avinger, Texas. She was born on November 19, 1933, in Rancho de los Capulines, Mexico, to Miguel Valadez and Anastacia Olvera.

Maria was a devoted homemaker and farmer who was well known for making goat cheese. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting, loved children, and was deeply devoted to her Catholic faith. She faithfully prayed the Rosary several times each day and found great joy in sharing her faith with others.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Juan Dominguez and wife Jo, Pablo Dominguez and wife Maria, and Sarafen Dominguez and wife Rozio; one daughter, Araceli Dominguez; 43 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and devotion to her family that will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
