Services for Marier Johnson, 57, of Pittsburg, will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 6, 2021 at First Baptist Church, 302 East 3rd St, Hughes Springs.  Burial will follow at Kellyville Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home of Hughes Springs.

Marier Johnson was born September 15, 1963 to Ruby (Johnson) Jetum and Sylvester Jetum. She departed this life on January 29, 2021. She attended school in Jefferson, Texas. She was a certified nurse assistant by profession because she loved helping people. Marier was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby and Sylvester Jetum; brother, Charles Johnson; and brother, Robert Johnson.

She leaves to cherish her memory: children, Eldunta Johnson of Daingerfield, Daniel (Heather) Johnson of Jacksonville, NC, Sharmecia Johnson of Jefferson, Robert (Kristen) Johnson of Hughes Springs, James Johnson of Pittsburg, Darrell Johnson of Jefferson, Krystle (Princeton) Johnson of Linden, Quietan (Crystal)Johnson of Jefferson, and Sonya Thompson of Read Oak, TX; four brothers, James L Johnson (Joyce), Tommy L. Johnson (Lisa), Jessie Johnson and Pierre Johnson (Latasha); two sisters, Lakeitha Price (Dusty) and Judy Carrol; two aunts, Louis Johnson (Rayford) and Joyce Johnson; three uncles, Truman Johnson, Joe Johnson (Joyce), Alvin Johnson (Barbara); 40 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; her significant other, Vic Wilkerson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
