Marjorie Tudor

Graveside services for Mrs. Marjorie Tudor, 88, of Ore City, Texas, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August, 13, 2026, at Ore City Cemetery, with Judge Lyle Potter officiating, and under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Ore City.

 Marjorie Louise Gilliland Tudor was born May 30, 1938, in Sweetwater, Texas, to Elmer Gilliland and Eula Mae Brock Gilliland.  She passed away on August 10, 2026, in Longview, Texas.

Mrs. Tudor, along with her husband, owned and operated True Value Hardware in Ore City for many years. She loved her home and took great pride in her yard. She also had a special love for her Boston Terriers. Above all, Mrs. Tudor was a devoted and loving wife and mother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Gilliland and Eula Mae Brock Gilliland; her husband, Mr. Cody Tudor; her son-in-law, Mr. William Hansel.

Mrs. Tudor is survived by her loving daughter, Mrs. Stacy L. Hansel.

Mrs. Tudor will be remembered for her love of family, the pride she took in her home, and the quiet, simple things that brought her happiness.
