Mary Jones Beckett was born December 8, 1940 in Atlanta, Texas to Byron and Beulah Jones. She went to be with the Lord on September 21, 2022.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Beckett; her parents; brothers, Jimmy Jones, Jerry Jones, Harold Jones; sister, Mattie Jones Huffman; and brother-in-law, Tommy Beckett.
She is survived by her son, Randy Beckett and wife, Angie of Mt. Pleasant; daughter, Nita Wiese and husband, Woody of Windsor, Colorado; grandchildren, Cole Beckett and wife, Grecia, Amy Gibson, Holly Jones and husband, Jeff, Maranda Wiese; great-grandchildren, Samuel, Isabela, Gabriel, Lexi, Katie, Krissy, Laci, Jacob, Emily, and Ryan; sister, Diann Young and husband, John; brothers, Royce Jones and wife, Dana, Horace Jones and wife, Linda; brothers-in-law, Norman Beckett and wife, Penny, Don Beckett and wife, Libby; sister-in-law, Jenny Beckett; and a host of extended family and friends.
Services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. Sunday and lasting until service time.

Such a kind, sweet soul. She touched the hearts of all who met her and were blessed to know her. I will remember the devotion of her family, the warmth they showed her, and how they opened their hearts to others. God Bless you, sweet Nana.
