Funeral services for Mary Ellen Pyland, 87, of Ore City will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 12 at First Baptist Church in Ore City with Rev. Rob Casey and Rev. Brian Peck. Burial to follow in Mims Chapel in Mims, Texas under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. Visitation will be at the First Baptist Church at 212 Cedar Ore City, TX from 5-9 on Monday April 11. Mrs. Pyland died Saturday, April 9 at her residence in Ore City was born on January 31, 1924 in St. Charles, Minn. and was called home to be with her Lord on Saturday, April 9, 2011 in Upshur County. Mrs. Pyland was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ore City. She leaves to cherish her memory, three sons and daughters in law Dennis and Roberta Pyland of Birds Island, Minnesota, David and Norma Pyland of Florence, South Carolina and Dale and Sandy Pyland of Diana, Tx; six daughters and three sons in law Mary Myers, Arlene Pyland and Donna Pyland of Ore City, Gwen and Larry Dunn of Ore City, Jean and Pat Hurley of League City, TX and Pam and Bubba Casey of Pritchett; one sister JoAnn VanDiver of Minnesota; one brother Jerry Giles of Minnesota. numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews Preceded in death by parents; husband Dennis Pyland; three daughters Sharon Robinson, Rebecca Quinn and Brenda Pyland; one son Daniel Ray Pyland; four grandchildren Mary Christine Fleenor, Harry Buck Myers, Keith Pyland and Missy Robinson.
