Mary Kennemer so graciously went to be with her Lord May 6, 2008. She was born in Clarksville, Texas Feb. 17, 1913 and was married to John Raphael Kennemer on April, 25, 1936. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents Charlie and Sally Reed Grant, step-mother Noda Grant, brother Mack Reed Grant, sister Maureen Grant, son John Charles Kennemer, daughter-in-Law Sandra Kate Alley and son-in-law Hermon David Plumb. Left with loving memories of their mother are daughter, Theda June Welch and husband Purvis, daughter Brenda Joyce Gaddis and husband James, and son Carroll Grant Kennemer and wife Judy. Also left to cherish memories of their "Mee-Maw" are seventeen grand children, thirty-one great-grand-children and three great-great grand children. Countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends survive to mourn her passing and celebrate her entering heaven. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Visitation at Reeder Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs, 6-8 pm, Friday May 9, with services at First Baptist Church in Avinger 10 am, Saturday May 10 with the Reverends Dennis Gibbons, Shawn Thrapp and Bob Crowder officiating. Burial will follow at 2:30 pm, Hopewell Cemetery near Winnsboro, Texas.
