My deepest condolences to the family. I pray that our loving creator will give you peace and hope. God’s word, the Bible, is full of hope. For example, in John 3:16 we are told that God loves us. Another thing we are told there is that He provided the life of His only son to die for us so we can get forgiveness for our sins and live forever. For those who have died He promises in John 5:28, 29 a resurrection of all those in the graves. Jesus said in Matthew 5:5 that the meek would inherit the earth and He taught us to pray in Matthew 9:10,11 for Gods will to be done on earth aw it is in heaven. Could it be that righteous people, those forgiven of their sins could live forever on the earth? Psalm 37:29 says "yes". I hope this helps, some.
