Maudie L. Foreman LINDEN Funeral services for Maudie Lee Foreman, 94, of Linden will be at 2:00 P.M., Monday, June 22, 2009 in the chapel of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home in Linden with Bro. Curtis Hall officiating. Burial will be in Center Grove Cemetery. A visitation will be held Sunday from 6 to 8 P.M. Mrs. Foreman was born November 24, 1914 in Haynesville, Louisiana to Joe and Effie Lee Ware McWilliams. She passed away Friday, June 19, 2009 in a Linden nursing home. She was retired from Finley-Morris Grocery Store and a member of Linden Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Elmer Simmons and Horace Foreman, two sons, Franklin Simmons and Wallace Simmons, a daughter, Mary Crosby and a grandson, Shannon Simmons. Survivors include a son Ronnie Foreman of Linden; two daughters, Gloria Beare of New Braunfels and Elaine Parker of San Antonio; two step-sons, Marnie Foreman of Georgia and Richard Foreman of Linden; one step-daughter, Carrie Strain, Midlothian; one brother, Douglass McWilliams of Oklahoma; one sister, Nell Garrett of Ringgold, Louisiana; two daughters-in-law, Margaret Simmons of England and Betty Simmons of Douglassville; 22 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and many other family and friends.
