LINDEN, TX Funeral services for Mendy Lynn Henderson, 33, of Linden, will be at 2:00 pm, Thursday, February 3, 2011 at First Baptist Church with Bro. Jackie Stanfield officiating. Interment will be in Linden Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home in Linden. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Henderson was born July 22, 1977 in Linden to John Henderson and Chetene Gooch Joshlin. She passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2011, in a Linden hospital. She was employed by Good Shepherd Medical Center in Linden and was a Methodist. She is survived by her children, Richard Austin Schuler and Addison Jade Powell of Linden; her mother Chetene Gooch Joshlin and husband, Osey of Uncertain; her father, John Henderson and wife, Frances, of Linden; a sister and brother-in-law, Kerry and A.J. Shields of Linden; special friend, Jared Morgan of Linden; a niece, Kailey Byrd of Linden; step brother, Rocky Liles of Linden; two step sisters, Deborah Liles and Erica Stallings; and a host of other family and friends who loved her dearly.

The illnesses that plagued you in this lif…e are no more…….some may say that the illness won in the end….THATS A LIE my friend….YOU WON MENDY! You beat ALL the illnesses….you just took a slightly different turn. Now your body is free from sickness and your running, singing, playing, laughing and being free from the things that held you in bondage. You've earned your wings my friend. One Day All of Us will be with you….till then live like you've never lived b4! You will be missed more than words could ever be expressed. Your loved ones will never, EVER let your love, laughter, or your spirit for life fade.
