Mildred Walker-Head, 92, passed away Tuesday evening at Lawrence Street Health Care Center in Tomball, Texas. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Ed & Nan Walker of Cypress, Texas, one granddaughter, Kellee Walker, of The Woodlands, daughter-in-law Flora Williams of Kingwood, and one Grandson, Larry Walker Williams, of Kingwood. She was preceded in death by her mother Pearl Knight, her father Claud Knight, one son, Gordon Walker, her husbands, Lawrence Clyde Walker, and Everett Head. Ms. Walker-Head was born April 4, 1919 in Naples and she was raised in Naples, Texas. She resided for many years in Hughes Springs. She was a long time member of Missionary Baptist Church in Hughes Springs. Services will be 10 A.M. Friday at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs with the Rev. Larry Neeley officiating and burial will follow at Omaha Cemetery in Omaha, Texas. Mrs. Walker will lie in state Thursday afternoon and evening and the family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Dear Eddie and Nan,I was privileged to know your mother when she worked for Dr. O.C. Bradley. She was a very sweet lady and it was a pleasure to know her. We are sorry for your loss.

Im so sorry for your loss. I went to school with Ed and I knew the Knights. I went to Church at Rocky Branch Baptist when I was growing up. My thoughts and prayers go out to each family. May God Bless each of you.
Mrs. Walker was one of the sweetest women I ever met. We are sorry for your loss, and I know she will be missed, but she will be waiting for you in Heaven.
