It is with great sadness that the family of Mitzi Dana Hitchcock, 55, of Ore City, Texas announce her passing on September 26, 2021.  Dana, also known as "Pooh" by her family and friends will be lovingly remembered by her son, Lane Hitchcock and girlfriend, Kyleigh Wingfield; sisters, Denise Mitchell, DeAnn Parrish (Fred), Kathy Weeks (Jason), Crystal Canada, Tiffani Hebert (Alan), and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, David and Margie Beard, and Doug Fagg.

Services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 30, 2021 in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Ore City with Bubba DeBerry officiating.  Burial to follow in the Coffeeville Cemetery and under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Ore City. 

There will be a time of visitation one hour prior to the service.

Due to Pooh's love for animals, the family has asked in lieu of flowers please make donations to The Humane Society of the United States, 1255 23rd Street, NW, Suite 450, Washington, DC 20037.

  1. My heart goes out to Lane and the entire family… I was completely devastated when I heard the news. I have so many great memories from our younger years I wish I would have spent more time with her in the last few years. She will always hold dear spot in my heart. I'll be praying for all of you.   7. I would like to give my heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Pooh. I was best friends with her sister when we were in high school and Dana(Pooh) although she was quiet she was strong in her opinions. I know she will be missed and I pray God will comfort this family . ??🙏
