Guestbook

  1. The Lord is my shepherd,
    I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures
He leads me beside the still waters.
    He restores my soul
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
    For his name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
    I will fear no evil.
    For you are with me.
Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil,
    My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever. Go get your rest, thank you for loving me like your own grandchild❤️

  2. Candle 2Officer Joe Weems and Candice, you and your entire family are in my thoughts and prayers.

  3. Candle 2She was the best teacher, friend, second momma I ever had. She would pick me up for school every morning and take me to work. She helped me pass high school and every summer we would go to baseball camps and cook food for everyone. She was an angel sent by God.

  4. Grandma Weems….. her classroom was a sanctuary and safe place for many including me. I became friends with her oldest granddaughter in middle school and then had her for home ec where I learned how to use sewing machines and make blankets. Even after high school, every time I visited her, she sent me home with sewing materials. I still flinch when I accidentally drop the pressure foot.
So much of my life has been connected to her and her family. Will always love and miss you Grandma.

  5. Candle 2She was a safe place for many people. I don’t think she ever told anyone “no”. I had the privilege of growing up right across the street from her and attending the high school where she taught. Many long talks when she would take me to school, that helped and shaped me into who I am today.
