LINDEN, TXFuneral services for Nina Mae Duncan, 87, of Linden will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, April 30, 2010 at First Baptist Church in Linden with Bro. Don Phelps officiating. Burial will be in Bear Creek Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home, Inc. A visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Duncan died Tuesday, April 27, 2010 in Kaufman, Texas. She was born July 7, 1922 in the Bear Creek community of Cass County, Texas, to Marion and Alice Loretta Wheeler Morrow. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Linden; TEL Sunday School Class; the XYZ Fellowship; Awakening Womens Ministry, and was a member of the Helping Hands of Linden Health Care Center and the Caves Springs Friendship Club. She worked as a bookkeeper in Dallas for Henry S. Miller Co. for 25 years. Survivors include her son and his wife Rodney and Cheri Duncan of Kaufman, a daughter, Caroline Keffer of Aurora CO; a daughter-in-law Debby Duncan of Heartland TX.; brother in-law and his wife Robert and Mary Duncan of Avinger; two brothers and sisters-in-laws, Rev. Leon and Dorothy Morrow and Calvert and Ruby Morrow, all of Linden; nine grandchildren Michelle Stone, Kristin Kosbab, Rodney Lee Duncan Jr., Todd Allan Duncan, Deanna Norwood, Matthew Duncan, Denise Schmidt, Chastity Lawrance, Christopher Giordano; 12 great-grandchildren: Brittney Duncan, Brandon Huisman, Kenny Duncan, Justin Duncan, Natalie Duncan, Brooke Duncan, Luke Duncan, Christina Cole, Michael Cole, Garrett Schmidt, William Lawrance, and Jacob Lawrance. Mrs. Duncan was preceded in death by her husband Arnel Lee Duncan, her son Melvin Duncan, a sister Sarah Dean, two brothers James Alvis Morrow and Garvin Morrow, and her parents Marion and Loretta Morrow.
