Funeral services for Pat Lambdin, 73, of Hughes Springs will be at 2 P.M. Friday at Reeder-Davis Chapel in Hughes Springs with the Rev. Bryan Peck officiating. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery in Marietta under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. of Hughes Springs. Visitation will be at 6-8 P.M., Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Lambdin died Tuesday, Oct. 13 at a Hughes Springs nursing home. She was born July 25, 1936 in Marietta to Clarence Elbert and Vada Cannon, who preceded her in death. She worked many years at Hills Grocery in Hughes Springs. She is survived by two daughters Wanda Cordova of Avinger, and Stephanie Banks of Florida; four sons and daughters-in-law Ricky and Minister Collie Murphy of Avinger; Wesley Cannon of Palmdale, California, Dean Henderson and Stanley Henderson, both of Temple; one sister Nell Johnson of Avinger; two brothers Joe Dean Cannon of Quinlan and Elbert Cannon of Marietta; and nieces and nephews and their spouses Sharon and Jon Satterfield of Daingerfield, Charles and Brenda Johnson of Avinger, Tony and Sonya Johnson of New Diana, Shana and Eric Austin of Quinlan, Dena Cannon of North Carolina, Junior and Angela Cannon of Louisiana, and Eddie Cannon of Houston; three grandchildren John Rusnak of Ohio, Joseph Feaster and Kyle Feaster, both of Amarillo; and two great grandchildren.

  1. She was a sweet lady. She tried to take care of my mom when they were in the same room at the nursing home.She always watched Mom closely and would tell me how she had done during the night… Mom really liked her…may God bless her and the family..
