Patricia Anne Brown Carrier, 66, of Avinger, Texas passed away on August 24, 2021 in a Corpus Christi Hospital.  Mrs. Carrier was born May 18, 1955 in Watertown, New York to Clifford Ross Brown and Alice Dieu Donnie Brian.  Patricia was a foster parent for over 70 teenage girls, she loved to paint, was a great writer of poetry and an avid thrift shopper.  She walked on the beach everyday for hours talking to her Lord and Savior that she loved with all her heart.
 
She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Dale Bruce Carrier; two daughters, Trisha Lynn Carrier Pratt (Kimble), Christina Faith Carrier (Jayson); grandchildren, Isaiah Bradley, Levi Ray, Kaileigh Hope and one sweet little one on the way, and two sisters, Kelly Stanton and Billie Molyneux.
 
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Alice Brown, one sister, Linda Neff and one brother, Randy Vacchetto.
 
Services will be 12:30 p.m., Friday, September 3, 2021 at Southside Chapel in Ore City with Pastor John Montana officiating.  Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.
 
There will be a time of visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Southside Chapel.

  5. Pat , I remember coming over to your house as a child. I remember seeing all the barbie dolls and fun things that surrounded the girls rooms you had. I remember everyone including my sister in such a happy state. Thank you for that. I remember you ,your smile and your kindness. Thank you for being you, thank you for allowing me to be apart of your daughters life. You are one of a kind , and will be truly missed.

  6. Mrs.Pat I am so blessed to have gotten to know you and Mr. Dale while we were all at Trisha n Kimble's. I'll never forget yall taking me back to the coast n having that blow out and the awesome DPS officers who stopped and help us change that tire and you being sooo sure that one was flirting me lol…you were an awesome lady in life so I know that you're an awesome angel now. Mr. Dale, Trisha, n Kimble I send yall nothing but love and condolences with the knowledge that yall now have a awesome guardian angel to watch over yall. Love to you all

    If it wasn’t for you and your wonderful family, I would of ended up in jail or shot. I love you. Keep studying Pat! When I see you again we’re gonna intellectually spar like old-times. Hehe.
