Pat Hargett LINDEN Funeral services for Pat Hargett, 61, of Linden, will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday, August 17, 2009 at the First Baptist Church of Linden with Bro. Charles Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Flat Creek Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday for 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Hargett was born April 12, 1948 in Orange, Texas to Bernard and Luease Youngblood Jones. She passed away Friday, August 14, 2009 in a Linden hospital. She was a retired school teacher, after 30 years of service, from Linden-Kildare Elementary School and a member of the First Baptist Church of Linden, where she taught Sunday School for many years. She is survived by husband, James Hargett of Linden, two sons and one daughter-in-law; Jim Hargett of Marshall, Jeff and Kristi Hargett of Linden, two sisters and one brother-in-law; Paula and Don Ferguson of Houston and Pam Savoy of Orange, Texas. She is also survived by two grandchildren; Josey Hargett and Ruston Hargett, both of Linden, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Preceded in death by one son, Joseph Hargett, her father and mother, Bernard and Louease Jones and step-mother, Nell Jones.
