I was Philip’s email friend through my sister Gwen and our common friend James Campbell. We prayed for him through months of COVID and surgery . We all thought he was going to make it and win because we knew that Philip was a fighter . Much love and prayers to all in the family. We all loved and had the ultimate respect for Philip ! My Sincere Condolences And Prayers To The Family
Our families grew up together in Avinger. You were so loved by us all and especially by my father and mother, Rolan and Betty Foster. There was an event at the Avinger Fire Department for veterans when I was a very young. Late 80's early 90's. This is when I learned of Philip's service in Vietnam and his love for our military and country. He will always be our small town hero! Love a prayers to the entire family.
To the entire Doss family, I was truly saddened to read about the passing of Philip. As most of you know, we all grew up together since our Mothers we very good friends and worked together for many years at Brooks Hospital. I can still remember several adventures that we shared in our younger years. Philip will be missed. May the Lord be with each of you during this very sad and difficult time. Ray presley
