LINDEN Loy R C Taylor, 78, of Linden, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2008 in Atlanta Memorial Hospital. He was born September 21, 1929 in Lexington, Texas to Loy R Q and Ivy Lee Rhodes Taylor. He was a retired barber and retired from Cass County Precinct One. He was also a deacon and a Baptist. Survivors included 3 sons and daughters-in-law: David R C and Judy Marie Taylor of Daingerfield, Terry Alan and Alicia Taylor of Linden, and Larry Kevin and Nikki Taylor of Detroit; one daughter and son-in-law , Judy Elizabeth and John Morphew of New Boston; one brother, Jim Taylor of Washington State, four sisters, Verna Lee Younts of Bay City, Hope Auld and Pee Wee Hoffman both of Boling, and Becky Taylor of Ganado. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Taylor. Services will be at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home Chapel, in Linden, with Bro. Perry Hart and Bro. Taylor Duncan officiating. Burial will be in the Cave Springs Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

  6. Mr. Taylor, You are whole now and with the Lord. Your children, grandchildren and the great grandchildren will miss you but never will they forget you. They will always remember the things that you taugh them. We will all see you sooner or later. In the mean time know that you were loved on earth as you are now loved in Heaven. The Lord is Great. He will comfort those here on earth.
